Our Patrons

Mr Lee Payne

The spectacular dancing of Lee Payne has inspired many dancers to get their tap shoes on, including the students here at Shooting Stars! Lee is a graduate of the Millennium Performing Arts College. His musical theatre credits include Riverdance, Singing In The Rain and Magic of The Dance, whilst his theatre credits include Bouncers, Jeckyl and Hyde, One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest and Hamlet.

Lee has many television credits to his name include Top Of The Pops and The Des O’Conner Show as well as reaching the semi final of Sky 1's Got To Dance.

We have been lucky enough for Lee to come and give us master classes when he is off from touring the world and we are extremely grateful and value every second of his time with us.

Miss Sally Fredericks

Sally danced professionally with The Royal Ballet Company at The Royal Opera House ,Covent Garden and major venues around the world . She danced a variety of roles to soloist level working with renowned choreographers such as Sir Frederick Ashton and Sir Kenneth MacMillan.

She then studied at The Royal Academy of Dance where she gained her professional teaching Diploma with distinction.

We are delighted to say that Sally is one of our patrons, she comes in often to give us Royal ballet standard lessons, but still makes it fun for all. We also have the pleasure of her choreography skills too occasionally for our shows as she helps us to learn extracts of well known ballets for us to perform to our audiences.

Lady Carol McNeill

Lady McNeill founded Carrisma School of Dance in January 1985, teaching for 33 years before retiring from her role in July 2017. In her time as Principle at the school, she taught many pupils, putting them through their exams with an extremely high pass rate. Included in this were Emma, Mark and Sian, who took on the students upon Lady McNeill's retirement. After moving to Somerset in her retirement, she now occasionally visits for showcases put on by the school, and is always supporting the school and teachers in any way she can.
