Meet The Team
All of our staff have a full DBS check and a dance qualification, to ensure a safe and well structured learning environment for students of all ages.
Emma has been dancing since the age of three, and passed her Advanced Two Ballet exam in November 2014. She celebrated her eighteenth year of dancing in May 2017 by qualifing as an associate teacher in NATD Ballet. She loves teaching Ballet here at Shooting Stars Performing Arts, but also enjoys Musicial theatre, Modern and Tap too.
Mark began dancing at the age of 7 and has a strong background of both dance examinations and on-stage performing through ISTD, IDTA, and NATD classes through the years. He is a qualified associate teacher in NATD Tap, and enjoys the opportunities to share and teach his passion for Character Acting, Freestyle dance, and Musical Theatre skills here at Shooting Stars Performing Arts in the future.
Sian has been dancing since the age of seven and celebrated 25 years of dancing in September 2016. She took a three year break in 2002 to study contemporary dance at university. Since returning in 2005 she has continued to study ballet and tap but her real passion is for freestyle and contemporary.
In 1988 Denise Tylee joined the teaching staff of Carrisma, bringing her expertise of tap & of teaching younger children. Denise is now a support teacher at Shooting Stars Performing Arts who comes in occasionally, helping to prepare the students for their Grade tap exams to ensure they can achieve the best grade possible.
